What is Keyboard Ghosting?
Keyboard ghosting is a phenomenon where the keyboard cannot correctly recognize all keys when certain key combinations are pressed simultaneously. This is usually caused by hardware design limitations.
What is NKRO?
NKRO (N-Key Rollover) refers to the keyboard's ability to recognize N keys simultaneously. High-end gaming keyboards typically support Full NKRO.
How to Test?
- • Try pressing multiple keys simultaneously
- • Test common key combinations (like WASD + other keys in games)
- • Observe the highlighting on the keyboard layout
- • Check if all keys are correctly recognized
Evaluation Standards
- • 10+ keys simultaneously: Excellent
- • 6-9 keys simultaneously: Good
- • 3-5 keys simultaneously: Fair
- • Less than 3 keys: Needs improvement
